Art of Apero: Byrrh, Pernod Absinthe + Classic Canapés (members only)

  • Private Residence 75018 Paris France

(Re)discover the true traditions and tastes of the aperitif with our new series, Art of Apero.

Aperitif hour is not just an occasion to have fun with friends, but also a way to prepare your palate for the meal to follow. To further explore this French tradition, each month we are serving up a new set of aperitif drinks and snacks to a lively mix of 30 guests in a private Parisian residence. This series focuses on the classics, served in both traditional and updated ways as well as more modern aperitif options.

To appreciate the aperitif in its full context, each Art of the Apero session is followed by an optional group dinner for up to 10 guests in a nearby restaurant.  You can opt in to the dinner reservations at the time of ticket purchase. This month nearby restaurant Sunset is reserving a private table/server for our group and will be offering a special four to five course menu at approximately 33 Euros per person.  There will be an additional add on should you wish to partake in the wine pairing with the meal, which promises to be exceptional and selected to both follow the aperitif and pair with each plate.

March aperitif pairing: Byrrh, Absinthe/Classic Canapés
March dinner location: Sunset

This event is a joint World Gourmet Society/The Chamber event with additional participation from Pernod and Perfectly Paris.

Dress Code: This ain't your average apero! You're taking part in rediscovering, reviving and reinventing this French tradition.  So, dress like you mean it!

This event is initially open only to members of The Chamber or World Gourmet Society. Additional tickets may be opened to the general public as the event gets closer.
